Fight Choreography
During their time as a BFA student at Belmont University, Cate took a stage combat class and several workshops. They are working towards weapons certification. In the summer of 2024, Cate worked as part of a team of fight choreographers and captains on a production of She Kills Monsters by the Straight to the Stars program, run by Williamson County Children's Theater. Cate and their team worked together to teach a group of high school students how to safely and effectively execute stage combat. Cate choreographed half of the fights in the production and stayed with the production to work as a fight captain during the run of the play.
